Teaching teenagers the SDGs

The implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is a dynamic process of adaptation, learning and action. The transformation to sustainable economies and sustainable communities requires a pro-active approach, in which education for sustainable development has a key role to play.

The Teen Pack toolkit aims to strengthen education, capacity building and awareness raising on the SDGs in the countries of South Eastern Europe (SEE) by incorporating the SDGs into the national curricula of secondary schools and vocational education and training institutes. Through general and country-specific background information on the SDGs and their targets, and via a range of suggested activities for students — including discussion topics, role-play exercises, practical tasks and videos — the aim is to encourage the active involvement of students, families and the general public in promoting SDG implementation.
